Even There
I wrote the words to Even There and "plucked" out a melody in the summer
of 2004 after preaching my first message after my heart attack and surgery. I
then gave it to Isaac Judd, one of our college students, asking him to arrange
it. When he came back from school in May of 2005, he had finished it. These
are my words to the Lord during my time down.
I am thrilled that my son, Jason, was able to sing it. As he was singing, he
started to think about it and almost lost it at the end of the second and into
the third verse. It started to affect the ladies in the trio when Jason struggled.
